The Justice in Health program is the cornerstone initiative of Just Health Restoration, LLC — where lived experience meets strategic action. This multifaceted program confronts systemic healthcare injustices through grassroots power-building, community education, and transformative policy change.
Our work is rooted in equity, access, and accountability, with programming that spans from neighborhood town halls to legislative halls of power.
What We Do:
📣 Community Engagement & Organizing
We empower communities through direct action — facilitating town halls, healing circles, education workshops, and storytelling spaces that elevate the voices of those historically excluded from healthcare reform conversations. This is equity-building in action.
🏛️ Public Policy Advocacy
Justice in Health drives policy change by working with legislators, health departments, and advocacy coalitions to develop and support equitable, as well as anti-racist, non-biased, and non-discriminatory health legislation. We equip community members to engage in the policy process through training, testimony preparation, and public comment strategy.
